Controller
The Controller for the data processing operations described below is the office named in the imprint.
Usage data
When you visit our web pages, so-called usage data is temporarily evaluated on our web server for statistical purposes as a log in order to improve the quality of our web pages. This data record consists of
- the date and time of the query,
- the amount of data transferred,
- the access status (content transferred, content not found),
- the description of the web browser and operating system used,
- the referer link, which indicates from which page you have reached ours,
- the IP address of the requesting computer, which is shortened so that a personal reference can no longer be established.
The above-mentioned log data will only be evaluated anonymously.
Storage of the IP address
Furthermore, we do not store IP addresses.
Data Security
We take technical and organizational measures to protect your data as comprehensively as possible from unwanted access. These measures include encryption procedures on our web pages. Your data is transferred from your computer to our server and vice versa via the internet using TLS encryption.
You can usually recognize this by the fact that the lock symbol in the status bar of your browser is closed and the address line begins with https://.

Matomo
Design of the website to meet requirements
We use the web analysis tool "Matomo" to design our websites in line with demand. Matomo creates usage profiles based on pseudonyms. For this purpose, permanent cookies are stored on your terminal device and read by us. In this way, we are able to recognize returning visitors and count them as such.
The data processing is based on your consent, provided that you have given your consent via our banner.
You can revoke your consent at any time Please click here on the cookie settings and make the appropriate settings via our banner.
Matomo Tag Manager
We also use the Matomo Tag Manager. Apart from IP addresses, no personal data is collected by the Matomo Tag Manager itself. The Tag Manager helps us to integrate and manage our tags. Tags are small code elements that are used, among other things, to measure traffic and user behavior, assess the impact of online advertising and social media channels, enable remarketing and audience targeting, and test and optimize websites. Data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interests).
Conversion tracking of campaigns
We also use Matomo to run campaigns. If you see one of our ads on other websites or click on it, these websites store a conversion tracking cookie with a pseudonym assigned to us in your end device on the basis of the consent you have given there.
If you then visit our website within the storage period of the cookie, this cookie and your usage data are read by Matomo using a pixel and a JavaScript code on our website. This enables Matomo to determine that you have been shown an advertisement placed by us or that you have clicked on it and subsequently visited our website, as well as used our website. In particular, it records which job ads you have clicked on.
Matomo uses this information to compile statistics for us that show us how many users have responded to our ads and how. Based on these statistics, we can optimize the effectiveness of our advertising and manage our advertising strategy.
The data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent, provided that you have given your consent via our banner.
You can revoke your consent at any time. Please click on the cookie settings here and make the appropriate settings via our banner.
Google Ads Conversion Tracking
We use the Google Ads Conversion Tracking service provided by Google LLC. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is set. These cookies expire after 90 days and are not used to personally identify users. If a user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.
Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of Ads customers. The information collected with the help of the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for us as an Ads customer. We learn the total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information that can personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can deactivate the Google conversion tracking cookie in your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
As part of the Google Ads Conversion Tracking service, Google Ireland Limited supports us as a processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. With regard to Google, an adequate level of data protection is ensured on the basis of the adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). Google also undertakes to conclude standard contractual clauses with further subprocessors. More information on Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

Map Services
On our websites, we embed map services that are not stored on our servers. To ensure that calling up our websites with embedded map services does not automatically lead to content from the third-party provider being reloaded, we only display locally stored preview images of the maps in a first step. This does not provide the third-party provider with any information.
Only after a click on the preview image, the content of the third-party provider is reloaded. Through this, the third-party provider receives the information that you have accessed our site as well as the technically necessary usage data in this context. We have no influence on the further data processing by the third-party provider. By clicking on the preview image, you give us permission to reload content from the third-party provider.
The embedding is based on your consent, provided that you have previously given your consent by clicking on the preview image. For more information on Google Maps, please visit cookie settings.
Please note that embedding means that your data will be processed outside the EU or EEA. In some countries, there is a risk that the authorities may access the data for security and surveillance purposes without informing you or allowing you to seek redress.
