Course Profile
The goal of this 1-day course is to prepare each student with the skills necessary for basic operations of the FANUC R-30iA and/or R-30iB robot system.

- Overview and identification of control panel, teach pendant, and basic system components
- Safe operation of robot while operating in manual and automatic modes
- Understanding and correcting basic robot operational errors and error message screens
- Using Joint and World coordinate systems to jog the robot free from collisions
- Recognizing basic robot program commands
- Executing programs in Step, Continuous, and Low Speed modes to recover to home and other known positions
- Understanding inputs and outputs for end effector recovery
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to demonstrate the ability to:
- Locate, identify and operate the robot control panel and teach pendant buttons.
- Interpret teach pendant messages and operator interface.
- Safely use the teach pendant to move robot for recovery to automatic mode.
- Access, step, and cycle recovery and home programs.
- Interpret and manipulate I/O signals for end effector recovery.
